Why Donate to Scholars for Schools

If you are reading this page you have fortunately been afforded educational opportunities that we often take for granted. No single skill is more crucial to the future of a child, or to a democratic and prosperous society, than literacy.

In central Chile, poor economic conditions and exorbitant book prices deny many children access to proper resources that are necessary for literacy development. Any donation, big or small, will help Scholars for Schools provide these children with fully functioning libraries and multimedia rooms.

Because Scholars for Schools is a non-profit all-volunteer organization, 100 percent of your donation goes directly to helping develop literacy programs for under-funded elementary and middle schools.

Below you will find three convenient ways to donate to Scholars for Schools. With the generous support from Rotary members and individuals, Scholars for Schools can make a significant impact on the success of Chilean children.
